Top Food with possibility to reserve a table. The much more famous Restaurant “Blue Mussel“ (directly in front of the On the Dock), has maybe a bigger Menue, but the view from On the Dock is unbeatable. Very friendly staff and very Family friendly!

We specifically asked the server if their seafood chowder had lobster or shrimp in it because my husband is allergic & said it is not severe (no epi pen needed) but causes discomfort so she went to the kitchen, came back and said no so we each ordered a bowl. After he finished it, he went to the washroom, came out all red in the face, eyes red and glassy—obviously having a reaction! Went back to another staff member who then told us there is no shellfish in it but there is lobster juice in it!!! Crustaceans! Not mollusks. Please indicate this on the menu.

My wife and I had supper at the On the Dock. Beautiful set-up by the water. The atmosphere was very friendly and the staff very courteous and professional. The chowder was full of large chunks of seafood, and the biscuits were right out of the oven.The service was excellent and very prompt. I would recommend strongly if you visit North Rustico, make a point to experience this restaurant by the water.

Service was average at best. Waitress at one point was away for quite some time when we needed something. Fries I thought were over done. Starter was great. Calamari and crab dip good. Likely wouldn't go back and would check out other places in the region next time I holiday here.

We had both the mussels, an order of the tomato chipotle variety and one of the blueberry ale. Both were delicious! We sat on their patio right on the boardwalk with our small puppy and the server was kind enough to give our pup a bowl of water. Would recommend!

Best fresh oysters ever. Elegant, silky, full, and are so good that using anything else to flavour it, other than a little bit of lemon would be criminal. Hospitality warm and delightful. Crab dip especially yummy with PEI's homemade kettle chips. Restaurant is pet friendly and welcomed our dog in their outdoor patio.

Chowder and fish tacos were delicious! There terrace is very nice during the summer. Prices are ok. I will definitely go back.

Beautiful location on the dock at North Rustico harbor. Overlooking the bay enjoy delicious reasonably price food while watching the fishing boats pass by with their local catch. The service was prompt and friendly. The staff were lovely and worked hard to please. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys eating in the outdoor in a comfortable light and enjoyable atmosphere. 10/10 in my books.

I came from Toronto ans I ate there with my childhood friends , I had the lobster dinner. It was amazing!! You can definetely taste the difference of freshness! Highly recommend!

​There is a bit of a wait (40 minutes in our case, which we were told upon arrival) but it was worth it. All the food we sampled were great - lobster rolls, bar clams, mussels, nachos, even the kale salad that came as a side. The wait staff was super busy but she was very pleasant, patient, and efficient. Enjoyed great views of the harbor while waiting for the food.

Some of the best fish & chips I've had...and I'm old! Lol seriously very fresh & very light breading. Excellent. Highly recommend. And I don't do chowder but my husband raved at all the fish in his chowder!

Beautiful location with SUPER food. We had bar clams and the fish n chips and who boy. Bar clams were big deep fried honkers and the fish was a fresh, light batter with incredible fresh flakey fish inside.And the fries, seasoned with a pepper and salt seasoning were even drool worthy. Highly recommend On the Dock for date night, a Sunday drive drop in, catching up with and old friend or a take out treat.

This restaurant is located on the border of a bay and the view is awsome. As soon as you sit, you get into a warm welcome with great staff. From the menu we decided to eat the favorite sea food platter. From the three of us, we can say that we never eated good well presented and fresh seafood like this. Six thumbs up for On the Dock restaurant. At the end of our diner, we met the owner and we can say that the whole environment respect his spirit and warm approach. A great gentleman who asked us if we appreciated our diner and took time with us and showed he cared about us.Finally, we took a walk on the dock observing the clear sky and stars. The food was surprisingly tasty. I had the veggie burger (a Beyond Meat burger) which was tasty and an excellent potatoe salad. The lobster role was also quite good as we're the fries. Wonderful view and very friendly staff.

Friendly service, nice atmosphere, quaint and standard good sea food eg fish and chips Blue Mussel Cafe is more adventurous (just slightly more), but this has a better view. Both are great

Food was pretty good. Server was nice but we waited a long time for our food and things didn't come out all together. I recommend the poutine (french fries, gravy and mozzarella) and kale salad.

The seafood chowder was great, fresh and hot. The fries are simply amazing!!! And that view!!! There's no better. My favourite place in PEI.

The food was delicious with lots of options even during covid. The price was good and the portions were HUGE. I had to take a lot of mine to go and I couldn't even finish all the leftovers for lunch the next day. The fish and chips was the best I've had in a very long time.

A great place to stop for lunch after kayaking the local rivers. The fish and chips were battered perfectly, and the bar clams were fantastic! The service was friendly and the setting very pleasant. Finding a parking spot can be a bit of a challenge, but that was the only drawback.

Great location overlooking the harbour. Food is delicious, moderate sized servings. Waited over an hour for our food which was a bit disappointing. Our server was ok.

Best food we've had on the island!!! Delicious! All 8 of us loved our meal. The seafood chowder is packed full of seafood and flavor! The lobster roll has a ton of lobster, the fries and gravy are amazing. My son and his friend said that it was the best fish n chips they've ever had. Service was great and that view ...wow!! Can't wait to go back!

Lobster rolls were awesome. The atmosphere was so relaxing. Will definitely be back. We are Islanders so we have tried many lobster rolls . This one was all lobster and not mixed with a lot of filler.

Amazing food, had the fish tacos, potato salad, Bar Clams everything was to die for! We got there 15 minutes before they close and felt a warm welcome. The owner came and talked with us. She and her mom are owners. Great personality, fancy plating at a very reasonable price and not to mention best views right on the water!!! Love it and highly recommend 💕

Fresh Strawberry Point oysters that were expertly shucked and served overlooking the bay where they are harvested. Plus fish and sides prepared by the wife and two daughters of one of the fisherman following their family recipes. Highly recommended for an authentically local meal.

Awesome food, great service! We got the fish & chips and the seafood chowder, which were perfect. The draft beer is also excellent, highly highly recommend! Thank you so much for making this such a wonderful highlight of our trip!

Ordered the lobster on a roll and had the side of fries. The lobster was fresh and there were nice sized chunks in the sandwich. Price I can't speak about. It was just under 20 for the order. It was very delicious and the view when eating on the deck was just beautiful.
